Make tracks to Williams to enjoy the brisk mountain air during Alpine Harvest Festival. Track your way, if you dare, through Bearizona during their Howly Growly Owly Fall Festival. Pumpkin Patch Train

Try out a new experience in Northern Arizona - Grand Canyon Railway's Pumpkin Patch Train. Pick your special pumpkin in a bigger than ever secret pumpkin patch, only accessible by train. Ride aboard a historic rail car through the countryside where you'll deboard the train and enjoy the Fall in a festival-like atmosphere. Kids (and their parents) are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes. Enjoy hot apple cider, pumpkin pie, crafts, coloring, a hay bale maze and more! Walk through our Haunted Train Car...if you dare! Children can decorate their new pumpkin with stickers and markers at the Williams Depot. There's no better way to celebrate the Fall in beautiful Northern Arizona!

Bearizona Fall Festival

Visitors are encouraged to dress up in costume and those that do will get a “beary” special treat! (Just stop-by our gift shop in costume to get your treat.)Take a ride on the Howl-O-Ween Express, a windowless bus which travels through the entire drive through portion of the park (Departs from the Fort Bearizona parking lot at 10:00a, 12:00p, 2:00p & 4:00p daily in October). Those who dare can walk through our Growly bear cave or our spooky haunted mine shaft. Guests should plan to catch an Owly Raptor Show at 11:00a, 1:00p or 3:00p daily. Visitors can also stroll through the Bearizona Barnyard petting zoo.

City of Williams 3rd Annual Scarecrow Contest:

  • Anyone can be a judge in our city wide scarecrow contest.
  • Participating businesses have their own unique scarecrow on exhibit and you can help determine which business will win the coveted traveling trophy.
  • Judges must visit a minimum of 5 participating businesses and judge each scarecrow to have their votes count and be entered in the grand prize giveaway of a City of Williams fall festival basket.
  • When judges go to the businesses they must redeem the sticker from that business that proved they were there.
  • All forms must be submitted by October 29th and the grand prize giveaway drawing will be held on October 30th.
